As a consumer researcher and analyst, I worked with IKEA on ‘The Smart Cities Project,’ a long-term online community made up of early adopter participants in London, San Francisco, Mumbai, Shanghai, Tokyo, Stockholm and Hong Kong.

To provide target market insights and recommendations for future product and marketing inspiration.
Solution
Through researching behavioural territories and the trailblazers within these markets, I worked on identifying and managing the early adopters. After understanding their cultural skillset, I formed their creative briefs, which manifested in content ranging from video Q&As to nightlife documentation and artistic expression. This was then edited, (being careful not to lose its creative essence), analysed alongside relevant expert input and delivered to IKEA in a presentation.
